So here's a picture of the fourth steamboat (Friday) in as many days that I had with my coworkers in the office. It's amazing to see the spread of food we have considering this is a lunch we're having in the office pantry. I've actually learned some simple recipes from my coworkers during these lunches and I can't wait to try them out when I'm a temporary *fai-fai in SF. =D
You see, I'll be having several months where I won't be able to get a job after I'm in the US due to visa issues. No worries though because I intend to (a) brush up on cooking skills, (b) take my GMAT, (c) bum around and play computer games, (d) catch up on movies, and (e) unpack. Think that's plenty to keep me busy. Plus... catching up on the last two years of long distance in our relationship. *wink*
We had fresh prawns with incredible egg roe that made the soup frothy and taste heavenly, dumplings made by one co-worker, two different homemade chilli dip, and random steamboat ingredients.
Oh! And I had my favorite seafood for dinner tonight. mmmmmmm *dreamy look*
* Definition of Fai-Fai :

Shopping trips are restricted to the nearest supermarket and possibly suburban malls. Should not enter expensive shopping malls to preserve personal mental health and reduce side-effects such as 'insatiable cravings'.
